We loved our time at hula hut everything was perfect from the time we got there until the time we had to leave we were in bliss. The hot tub and pool were wonderful . Our space was so colorful and cheerful. The location is close to all the attractions we wanted to see and the beaches in rockport are amazing. The community welcomed us with open arms and everything felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

Beautiful spot. Well worth it. It was actually close to a gas station, other stores and restaurants. Instructions were very clear and even had more info than needed. Didn’t need to ask for anything with the FAQs book right when we walked in. I changed the mini split to read Fahrenheit for future guest and my wife also cleaned before we left. Definitely recommend 😁

My husband and I loved staying here for the weekend. It’s such a cool little place and perfect for two adults and two dogs. Very peaceful - we enjoyed sitting on the patio as the sun went down. The dog park area and pool area were great. The house had all the necessary kitchen utensils and cookware. Thank you Gerilyn, we will definitely be back.

The RocknRoll bus was very comfy and charming, and was very cozy. The AC was very cold and you can adjust it. The bedroom and bathroom area were private / your able to close door for privacy! 2 TVs. one in bedroom and in living/front area with plenty of channels. No WiFi interruptions at all, being that it was out in the country on Farm Road. And yet, was still able to Uber to enjoy nightlife! The bathroom had plenty of soft, premium towels, big plus! The pool area. Stunning. good size pool, with a huge, wrap around deck with tropical plants and decor with lights and floaties. I was able swim, read and knit and close enough to downtown shopping, nightlife (Uber) and beach. Very private, peaceful area. I loved it.

This is not some random, run-of-the-mill place to crash, staying at Melanie's place is a fun experience! The rentals are quirky, colorful works of art and no two are the same. The Hula Hut was a visual delight, and it was very clean. Both beds were impressively comfy (one is a futon). The sheets and towels smelled good. The pool and hot tub did not disappoint. And the neighbors are so friendly. We will absolutely be staying here again and again and again. Gerilyn and Jason were great hosts - very responsive and available to answer questions. Thanks, y'all! We had a great time! P.S. tell MK that Chica and Tookie say hi!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! Gerilyn has created something truly special with this charming little town. Without giving too much away, I’ll just say anyone looking to cool off on a hot day at the pool should definitely check their surroundings! The RV accommodations exceeded my expectations—surprisingly spacious, fresh-smelling, and incredibly comfortable overall. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to feel right at home. Check-in was smooth and effortless, with excellent communication throughout. Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time staying in this rental! The space was full of character and matched the listing perfectly, no surprises, just a cozy, memorable stay. Melanie, was fantastic. She left a thoughtful FAQ book that answered all our questions, and she was super responsive throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. It’s clear she’s put a lot of care into the experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon!

We love all of Gerilyns places, we have stayed in a total of 3! this was our second time in the surfing sea turtle. It's so cute, colorful and cozy. the bed upstairs is the coziest. there's is a pool on site and it is amazing. my kids choose the pool over the beach a few times. Make sure you try the phone both! it really works!!💕💕

Melanie's Rockstar tour bus is amazing. Melanie is a fantastic host. We enjoyed ourselves very much and loved how close restaurants and shopping were close. We will definitely be booking with Melanie again.
