My Gulf Coast Getaway Texas

Again, our stay at the Rockstar on Tour was fantastic! This was my husband and I's 3rd time here at the Tour Bus and again everything was just like we remembered. Has become our Go-To Stay when we come to Rockport. Gerilyn and her husband are fantastic hosts who take care of the property and are super responsive and helpful. The people who stay at the property are friendly as well and as always, we enjoyed the pool and the tour bus! Nostalgic for sure! We will be back! Thanks again for a great stay!

Cute place! This was our first time in Rockport. This RV rental was affordable (especially considering the last minute reservation) and very conveniently located to everything we wanted to explore.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hula Hut! This unique little spot was perfect for our family’s beach getaway…clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. Melanie was a great host, and it’s clear she takes pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming experience. We especially appreciated the friendly neighbors, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying out some of Melanie’s other properties. Highly recommend!

My husband, myself and our dog loved this property! It was easy to find and quick to get into town and the beach but still peaceful. There were games and the dog park which our boy loved! The front porch was by far the perfect place to relax with friends! The table inside may look like it’s small in pictures, but easily fit us and my family who stopped by to chat! The entire property is so peaceful and would 10/10 recommend!

What a great find! Super cute and funky. We love to travel with our dogs and we LOVED our stay here! The dog park was immaculate and not a single ant hill in sight, which is a rarity in south Texas. There was even a dog wash station on site. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

We had a fun and relaxing stay in this vintage RV. 10/10 recommend. The place was very clean, matched the pictures, and Melanie was super responsive. If you go to the pool, make sure to use the phone booth for a free popsicle!

My family loved our time here at the Coconut Hut, our boys said it was the best place, they also loved the popsicle hotline. We enjoyed the pool and hottub and the dog park was a great plus for our pup. Its a very peaceful place and we felt right at home right away. The owners are very kind and they responded quickly to my messages. We will definitely stay here again in the future. :)

My kids and I enjoyed our stay at Surfing Sea Turtle! This lovely retro RV has so much character and charm! I had some problems with opening the door to the RV at check-in (my fault: misinterpreted the instructions), and the host was there 3 minutes after my text to help me. I was pleasantly surprised by such a quick respond. The RV was clean and stocked with everything we could wish for two nights, including some boardgames. It's not luxurious by anymeans, but it's one of those places that you'll remember for a long time. I wouldn't recommend it, however, to very tall people. I'm 5'8" and if I was a few inches taller, I'd have to bend while taking a shower and have my heels hanging off the bed. Otherwise, this place is perfect! The location is good, it's quiet and secluded yet still close to everything in the town. The swimming pool is awesome, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The dog park is not big but shady and clean. Made me regret that we decided to leave our pup at home.

She responded at a moment notice no 24 hour wait. Was a true save to our trip clean and the pool was the best feature. Well book again in the future for a short term stay

We loved our getaway at the Coconut Hut! We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and playing with other kids. The entire property is very well maintained and peaceful. Gerilyn is so nice and had recommendations for things to do. Rockport itself has plenty to do, the beach is nice. Good restaurants, and lots of shopping in downtown. We will definitely be back, next time we'll bring our dogs 😀
